My Day #1

Well, Today, I don’t know why, I want to write something happened this day.
Actually it was a foolish and stupidity. It was drizzle when I wanted to go home. Instead of waiting, I was just walking from my office to the nearest station. It was around 1.8 kilometers. Of course I got wet. Then, I went to the nearest restaurant to stop by waiting for the drizzle to stop. Unfortunately, the drizzle became heavy. Stupid of me, I ignored the drizzle and walked through the heavy drizzle.

Of course, I was lil bit soaked. Then, for the second time I stop by the housing security office waiting for the drizzle to stop. The second time I was lil bit patient. So, I was really waiting until it became light drizzle.

Next stupidity was I got lost. Today, I chose different path than the usual. Of course I got lost. I tried to look through map but I still couldn’t get the right path. So, I walked into narrow alley (only fit 1 person). After I was walking around, I found the main street. Phew, I was afraid of getting lost, tbh.

Well, the conclusions are don’t ever choose the different path from usual and don’t forget to bring an umbrella, yuri.

PS: I used to bring an umbrella but since I’ve resign from my first company, I really seldom bring an umbrella.

Okay, I will bring an umbrella tomorrow.!!!

Second Job

I want to tell you about condition in my previous jobs after I’ve resigned from Earthline Company. I resigned last October 2015. After I resigned from Earthline Company, I got job in Ministry of Public Works in Directorate General Of Provision Housing, Directorate of Planning Provision Housing in Data and Information Sub Division as Young Experts of Geography Information System in Information System Section (what a long name, phew).

I started at October 2015, the next day I’ve resigned. I was so glad that I’ve got the job quickly. At the first time, I was so confused about the task that is given to me. I’ve never worked in government. But the day passed I’ve learnt so many things such as how to write a formal letter, how to organize some focus group discussion, how to write some proceeding, etc.

My Tiny Messy Desk :D

The people are very kind to me. They taught me so many things. They didn’t get angry whenever I asked them many times. They would give me instruction.

My sub division consist 8 staff (including me), two head of section, and one head of sub division. They are Mr Nanang Sofwan as the head of Data and Information Sub Division, Ms. Soelistianing Kusumawati as the head of Information System Section, Mr. Rino Sinurat as the head of Data Processing Section. The staffs are Cut Asyraf, Mutiara Larasati, Amalia Rizki, Hendra Budiman, Muhammad Priyoko, Tri Cahyo, and Wibawa.

My current tasks were making some letter for the director, making some proceeding, making some minutes of meetings, making map for Directorate General of Provision Housing. These tasks were so different with my last tasks in Earthline. But I could handle those things because of my colleagues.

Smile you are in not candid camera. Pretend you didn't see the camera

Not only the people in my sub division but also people in others sub division were so kind to me. I’ve got many colleagues. Even we were not in the same age as me, but they treated me nicely. My Sub Division was placed between the fifth sub division (monitoring and evaluation sub division) and the general works unit. Actually the general works unit was placed in the corner of the floor. But three of them were placed next to my sub division (the fourth sub division).

Every day we were always talking to each others, gossiping one of us, having lunch together, going home together, and of course working together as a team.

We were not always in good side, sometimes we got scolded by our head sub division if we made some mistakes. But I did and do believe it was for our own good.

Well I think that’s all from me. I want to say thank you and mention your name one by one. But it would be long.  Thanks to you that I learnt so many things before I quitted.

Wish me luck in my new job.
